PRIVACY POLICY
Roadster Run at flyroadster.si · last updated 16 October 2026
Short version: no accounts and no ads. Your settings stay on your device. The leaderboard only gets what you choose to submit. Analytics runs only if you say OK.
WHO WE ARE
Roadster Run is a free browser game made by @mikeinsoftware. For any privacy question or request, send a message on X.
ON YOUR DEVICE
The game uses your browser's local storage, not cookies, to remember:
- your settings (sound, camera, graphics, units, paint, model),
- the driver name you type for your number plate,
- your best score and the top 10 runs on this device,
- your answer to the analytics question.
None of this is sent to us. Clearing your browser's site data deletes it.
GLOBAL LEADERBOARD
When you press Save after a run, we store the name you entered (up to 7 letters or digits), your score, flips and distance, and the time of the run. These entries are public on the leaderboard. Please don't enter your real full name.
To limit spam, your IP address is kept in the server's memory for about a minute and is never written to the database. Ask us on X and we'll delete or change your entries.
ANALYTICS (OPTIONAL)
With your OK, we use Google Analytics 4 to count plays and see how far people get. It sets cookies (such as _ga) and sends usage data to Google, which may process it outside the EU under Google's terms. We turn on IP anonymisation. Without your OK, Google Analytics is never loaded. You can change your choice any time in Settings → Display → Analytics cookies.
OTHER SERVICES
- Fonts come from Google Fonts, and the 3D engine (Three.js) from the jsDelivr CDN. Your browser connects to them directly, so they see your IP address.
- Like most websites, our web server keeps short-lived access logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting. They are deleted automatically within 14 days.
- If you play inside a post on X, X's own privacy policy applies to X.
YOUR RIGHTS
Under the GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in Slovenia, the Information Commissioner).
